How does the demineralization process work?

Three types of ion-exchange technology:

a)- DM Plant Regeneration
The frequency of use and DI Water Output makes the resins exhausted, loses its capacity to deionize water. In simple words, the capability of reducing ions reduces and the level of its active ion concentration goes down. The process of improving the power to enhance the capacity of deionizing water or levelling up the active ion concentration is process of regeneration.
b)- Two-Bed Deionization:
This two-bed deionizer column consists of two vessels. One is Cation column and the other one is Anion column. Water flows through the cation column for hydrogen ions whereas anion column gets exchanged with hydroxide ions to form a water molecule of Pure H2O.
c)- Mixed-Bed Deionization:
In this deionization process, the cation and anion exchange are both mixed and kept in a single vessel. A complete mixture of the exchangers in a single column equalizes the series of the flowing bed plants. This mixed bed deionizer is used to polish the water to retain the high levels of purity in it.
