a)- Anaerobic Sewage Treatment:

This ultimately leads to the reduction of organic material and gets converted into Hydrogen Sulphide, methane, carbon dioxide, etc. This anaerobic sewage treatment is widely used to treat wastewater sludge and organic waste as it leads to a reduction of input material to a large extent. If the methane is produced in large, then it is mostly covered by residential and heating industries. The best example of this treatment is septic tanks. But the notable one is; only the sludge can produce methane. The amount of pollutants in any septic tanks accounts for 70%-75% of the foul smell. b)- Aerobic Sewage Treatment:

After the discharge of the effluents on the aerobic soil, Aerobic sewage treatment begins. The bacteria present here to digest the pollutants here. Next, the aerobic bacteria colony should be established to provide air for the bacteria to breathe well. So, the air is supplied by using bio-zone that use impellers propelled by the pumps. This will disturb the surface of the liquid with air or by using submerged diffused aeration using blowers. It doesn’t require electricity to generate air for the bacteria. In this way, oxidation is achieved and digested to pollutants like carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and water. The bad odor and pollutant problems are cleared now. Now the effluent becomes non-polluting and it can be accounted for the discharge to a watercourse.
